About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and mechanics
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities, repairs, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Manage workshop resources, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
- Monitor productivity and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support water and wastewater treatment projects through effective workshop operations
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and inspection records
- Collaborate with operational and project teams to meet business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a workshop supervisor or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Experience in water, wastewater, or industrial environments preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications
