About the role
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the manufacturing plant in Linz, including organization, processes, and results
- Ensure stable, efficient, and safe production operations through productivity, quality, and cost optimization
- Lead and develop employees and shift supervisors
- Make strategic and entrepreneurial decisions for the manufacturing site
- Plan and optimize production workflows, capacities, and resources
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Management and KVP methods
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, HR, and Management departments
- Manage workplace safety, order, and quality standards
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (HTL, FH, or University) supplemented by business administration knowledge
- Multi-year leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with Lean Management, digitalization, automation, and AI
- Strong expertise in budget and resource planning and KPI-based production control (SQDCM)
- Demonstrated success in increasing productivity and efficiency in manufacturing processes
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking skills
- Fluency in both German and English
