Workshop Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the workshop operation
• Coordinate teams across Coachbuilding, Refurb, Paintshop, and Contractors
• Maintain high labour efficiency and deliver quality repairs
• Meet customer expectations and ensure jobs are completed on time
• Work closely with Parts, Sales Engineers, and Commercial teams
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance
• Manage accurate administration and documentation

Requirements

• Strong experience within PCV or HGV repair and maintenance environments
• Proven experience in a fast-paced operational setting
• Effective communication and people leadership skills
• Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines
• Understanding of vehicle systems and repair techniques
• Knowledge of VOSA standards and maintenance procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• PSV or HGV vocational licences
• College-based technical training or recognised industry qualifications
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems
