Works Director Tramway/BHNS

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise on Tramway and/or BHNS projects (infrastructure and systems)
• Set objectives for contract managers to ensure defect-free infrastructure delivery within cost, schedule, and performance targets
• Monitor site performance indicators including budget control, resource management, and deadlines
• Lead the preparation and organization of site launches
• Guarantee the proper application of contracts and amendments
• Resolve disputes and prevent site stoppages
• Supervise and sign service orders and written correspondence to contractors
• Support contract managers in execution and troubleshooting technical or contractual issues
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
• Manage the handover of works, including the removal of reservations and perfect completion guarantees
• Provide regular reporting to the Project Director and Client on progress, difficulties, and financial status
• Coordinate the management of modifications and non-conformities

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure or Urban Transport Systems works management
• Proven leadership skills to manage project teams
• Mastery of contractual and regulatory frameworks (Public Procurement Code, CCAG Travaux, etc.)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proactive and dynamic approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills
