Workplace Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all facility operations for the Berlin Hub, including building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), preventative maintenance, and repairs
• Own vendor relationships end-to-end, including negotiation, SLA tracking, and cost optimization
• Partner with building management and landlords to resolve infrastructure issues
• Ensure compliance with German occupational health, fire safety, and workplace regulations
• Support emergency response planning and business continuity efforts
• Partner with Real Estate teams to support seating strategy and capacity planning
• Drive sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency and waste reduction
• Oversee operational reporting, including energy consumption and maintenance costs
• Develop scalable operational processes and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of workplace operations, facilities management, or technical building operations experience
• Experience supporting operations in a large or growing office environment
• Strong knowledge of vendor management and preventative maintenance programs
• Familiarity with workplace safety and building operations in Germany
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and building partners
• Experience with workplace management systems or ticketing tools is a plus
