Workplace Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workplace operations and service delivery to ensure the San Jose headquarters remains safe, functional, and efficient.
• Develop and implement operational processes to enhance consistency, scalability, and employee satisfaction.
• Create an engaging and inclusive workplace environment through various programs, events, and initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements to ensure high-quality service delivery within budget.
• Monitor workplace budgets, invoices, and purchase orders, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Partner with local leadership and cross-functional teams, including People Experience, Technology, Security, and Real Estate.
• Support office relocations, expansions, renovations, and ongoing workplace improvement projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, employee experience, hospitality, or office management.
• Proven experience overseeing workplace vendors, service providers, and related contracts.
• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, operational expenses, and purchase order processes in a corporate environment.
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose, CA, 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-growth technology company with over 1,000 employees.
• Proficiency with workplace analytics tools and space utilization platforms.
• Recognized professional credentials such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP).
