Responsibilities

  • Own the reference design for all sites, including LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN/SD-WAN, segmentation, DNS/DHCP, and firewall policy
  • Manage the Meraki Dashboard as the single source of truth for configuration, firmware, and inventory
  • Operate the Tailscale zero-trust mesh, including ACLs and device posture
  • Proactively monitor connectivity, drive incident resolution, and perform root-cause analysis
  • Program-manage network installs and upgrades for new-site buildouts and refreshes
  • Manage ISP and connectivity-vendor relationships, including procurement and SLAs
  • Partner with IT Systems and Helpdesk teams on Tier-2/Tier-3 network escalations

Requirements

  • 6+ years in network engineering or network-focused IT infrastructure
  • Deep Cisco Meraki experience at multi-site scale
  • Expert knowledge of L2/L3 boundaries, IPAM, BGP, SD-WAN, and VLAN segmentation
  • Proficiency with packet-level troubleshooting tools like Wireshark
  • Experience managing network infrastructure as code using Meraki API, Pulumi, or Terraform
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE level certification
  • Experience with Tailscale or comparable Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Experience with office buildouts and structured cabling
  • Knowledge of physical security and AV networking (Verkada, Neat, Zoom)
  • Experience with Wi-Fi design and RF survey tools like Ekahau or Hamina
  • Familiarity with Okta, 1Password, and AI-assisted ITSM platforms
