Workplace Lead

Responsibilities

• Run the NYC HQ, managing space, supplies, furniture, and vendor relationships
• Own the workplace budget, planning and tracking expenditures
• Manage and grow the workplace team, including the Office Manager and Receptionists
• Lead major office build-outs and relocations, working with architects and designers
• Own workplace health, safety, and security protocols
• Manage the in-office events program and culture infrastructure
• Partner with IT, Security, People, and Finance teams

Requirements

• 7–10+ years in workplace, office operations, or facilities at a high-growth startup or tech company
• Proven experience managing people
• Experience building a workplace function and leading a team
• Experience leading a major office build-out or relocation
• Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and aesthetic taste
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, crypto, or fast-moving startups
• Experience managing office build-outs specifically in NYC
• Event planning background
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and modern workplace tools
• Experience partnering with People Ops on culture programming
