Workplace Health Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform reception duties and manage medical records
• Handle referrals, pre-authorizations, and scheduling
• Process payments and manage high-volume phone systems
• Conduct nasal swab, urine, and urine drug screen collections and testing
• Perform DOT urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing
• Facilitate fingerprinting services and waived laboratory testing
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and external customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medium to expert level proficiency in Microsoft products
• Ability to become certified for DOT urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing within 60 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to pass a background check for fingerprinting services
• Previous cash-handling experience
• Bilingual with ALTA-certified Spanish skills
• Previous medical office experience including insurance verification and pre-authorization
