About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform reception duties and manage medical records
- Handle referrals, pre-authorizations, and scheduling
- Process payments and manage high-volume phone systems
- Conduct nasal swab, urine, and urine drug screen collections and testing
- Perform DOT urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing
- Facilitate fingerprinting services and waived laboratory testing
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and external customers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medium to expert level proficiency in Microsoft products
- Ability to become certified for DOT urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- US citizenship and ability to pass a background check for fingerprinting services
- Previous cash-handling experience
- Bilingual with ALTA-certified Spanish skills
- Previous medical office experience including insurance verification and pre-authorization
