Workplace Health Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform reception duties, manage medical records, and handle referrals and pre-authorizations
• Schedule appointments and process patient payments
• Conduct nasal swab, urine, and DOT urine drug screen collections and testing
• Perform breath alcohol testing and waived laboratory testing
• Provide fingerprinting services and collaborate with the healthcare team and external customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current computer experience with Microsoft products
• DOT urine drug screen collection and breath alcohol testing certification (or obtainable within 60 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a background check for fingerprinting services
• Previous cash-handling experience
• Bilingual with ALTA certification in Spanish
• Previous medical office experience with medical records, insurance verification, scheduling, or high-volume phone systems
