About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace assessments, occupancy studies, and utilization analysis to evaluate current workplace performance.
  • Lead employee engagement activities, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and workshops.
  • Facilitate executive interviews and stakeholder workshops to define project vision and business objectives.
  • Develop workplace strategies and future workplace concepts aligned with organizational goals.
  • Advise clients on workplace models, including activity-based working (ABW), hybrid work, and desk-sharing strategies.
  • Perform workplace demand forecasting, space planning analysis, stacking, and blocking studies.
  • Prepare design briefs and workplace requirements to guide the design process.
  • Support change management initiatives to drive adoption of new workplace environments.
  • Coordinate the transition of workplace strategy outcomes to Project Management teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in workplace strategy, office strategy, or workplace consulting.
  • Experience designing and conducting workplace research, including employee surveys and occupancy studies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with executive leadership, HR, and IT teams.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in change management and workplace transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Activity-Based Working (ABW) and hybrid work strategies.
  • Experience in space planning, stacking/blocking analysis, and design briefs.
  • Background in architecture, interior design, facilities management, or organizational development.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
