Workplace Accommodation Professional

Responsibilities

• Decide on accommodation requests to ensure full compliance with the ADA
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Facilities, IT, and Legal departments to implement solutions
• Manage the documentation and tracking of all accommodation requests and outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding accommodation processes
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive and personal information
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure accommodations effectively meet employee needs
• Develop and deliver training sessions on ADA accommodation policies and procedures

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in HR, occupational health, or a related field
• 4 years of experience managing accommodation requests and processes
• 4 years of experience in cross-functional collaboration involving HR and Legal
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health, or a related field (or equivalent military experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar certification
• Experience working within a corporate or large organizational setting
• Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and resources
