Working Student/Internship in Impedance Sensing

Responsibilities

• Design and develop rapid hardware prototypes, including PCB design, schematic capture, and board bring-up.
• Develop software and firmware for robotics applications, focusing on data processing and embedded systems.
• Implement and test proof-of-concept solutions for tactile sensing, motion control, and human-machine interaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into functional prototypes.
• Conduct system integration, debugging, and validation of hardware and software modules in real-world robotics use cases.
• Document design concepts, PCB layouts, and experimental results to support internal demos and presentations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Basic hands-on experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium) and embedded programming on microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python for embedded or prototyping tasks.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a hands-on prototyping environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of robotics fundamentals, including sensors, control systems, or kinematics.
• Experience using electronics lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an international, cross-functional team.
