Working Student Insurance

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary internal and external interface between specialist departments and our external insurance broker
• Proactively research, structure, and prepare company, project, and technology data for risk analyses
• Manage existing insurance policies and monitor cancellation and renewal deadlines
• Maintain and update the internal insurance overview to reflect new locations, assets, or headcount
• Support the documentation, preparation, and rapid reporting of insurance claims
• Assist the Operations and Finance teams in evaluating new risks related to product releases or international market entries

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Economics, Law, Business Administration (focus on Insurance/Finance), or a similar field
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Highly structured and detail-oriented working style, especially when handling complex data and contracts
• Proactive communication skills to gather necessary information from various departments
• Ability to maintain absolute discretion when handling highly sensitive data and intellectual property
• Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the defense sector

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial practical experience in insurance, risk management, compliance, or working with an insurance broker
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and enjoyment of working with complex datasets
• Interest in the specific risk profiles of technology, aviation, defense, or hardware companies
