Working Student Group Consolidation

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation closing processes, including managing deadlines and checklists
• Perform plausibility checks on reporting packages, including variance analysis and completeness checks
• Prepare intercompany reconciliation documents, difference lists, and follow up on open items
• Assist with consolidation entries such as intercompany eliminations and currency translations
• Create and maintain Excel-based evaluations and document work processes/guides
• Support auditor inquiries by providing necessary evidence and documentation
• Assist with IFRS research and the preparation of notes/disclosures
• Participate in projects related to reporting digitalization and process harmonization

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
• Initial knowledge of accounting standards (HGB/IFRS) and/or consolidation logic is an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Analytical thinking skills and a high degree of accuracy with numerical data
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
