About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation closing processes, including managing deadlines and checklists
- Perform plausibility checks on reporting packages, including variance analysis and completeness checks
- Prepare intercompany reconciliation documents, difference lists, and follow up on open items
- Assist with consolidation entries such as intercompany eliminations and currency translations
- Create and maintain Excel-based evaluations and document work processes/guides
- Support auditor inquiries by providing necessary evidence and documentation
- Assist with IFRS research and the preparation of notes/disclosures
- Participate in projects related to reporting digitalization and process harmonization
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
- Initial knowledge of accounting standards (HGB/IFRS) and/or consolidation logic is an advantage
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Analytical thinking skills and a high degree of accuracy with numerical data
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
