Working Party Aircraft Structure Expert

Responsibilities

• Perform major and complex aircraft structural repair projects on all Airbus fleets using sheet metal and structural standard processes.
• Execute substantial disassembly and complex repairs, including wing spar and keel beam fabrication, clips, doublers, angles, and brackets.
• Manage corrosion removal, damage evaluation, and damage limit repairs.
• Utilize Roto Peen and Cold Working procedures as required.
• Provide on-site technical assistance for scheduled and unscheduled (AOG) maintenance and repair activities.
• Support Airbus programs and Final Assembly Line activities to assist customers with Airbus variants and legacy aircraft.
• Contribute to the development of Working Party activities and the growth of the US Fleet and Engineering organization.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a commercial aircraft repair environment.
• Working knowledge of EASA regulations.
• Proven ability to interpret aircraft technical manuals to solve complex structural and mechanical problems.
• Experience preparing and presenting issue resolutions to internal and external business partners.
• Demonstrated ability to apply industry safety regulations in aircraft manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally for aircraft repair or advisory services.
