Workforce Partnerships Manager, Global Affairs

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with workforce development organizations, community colleges, nonprofits, and governments
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Affairs Certifications partnerships
• Support the design, implementation, and expansion of workforce initiatives focused on AI literacy and upskilling
• Collaborate with Academy, Certifications, GTM, and Product teams to align programs and resources
• Develop playbooks and implementation guidance for workforce partners
• Represent OpenAI at conferences, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to identify emerging workforce trends

Requirements

• Experience managing partnerships and programs within workforce development, education, nonprofit, or public-sector environments
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to execute multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through implementation
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Experience navigating public-private partnerships
• Familiarity with credentialing, certifications, or adult learning programs
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with workforce boards, labor organizations, or economic development entities
• Deep interest in AI literacy, workforce transformation, and the future of work
