Bachelor's degree in HR, Science, Nursing, Business, Engineering, CS, Math, or IT, Minimum 3 years scheduling experience in unionized acute care, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI, Experience with UKG or electronic scheduling systems, Knowledge of Collective Agreements and clinical models of care, Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Forms, Power Apps)

About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standard organization-wide scheduling methodologies and optimization tools
- Provide consultation to managers on rotation management techniques to optimize resource utilization
- Analyze rotations to ensure compliance with collective agreements, staffing policies, and clinical models of care
- Build and optimize master rotation plans considering budget constraints and coverage needs
- Conduct quantitative analysis and reporting on scheduling metrics to support operational decision-making
- Support workforce planning challenges including overtime, sick leave, and leave management
- Facilitate change management and provide training/education to schedulers and super users
Requirements
