Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into workflow designs including forms, API integrations, branches, loops, and nested sub-workflows
• Author workflow definitions in code using typed structures, tests, and code review
• Utilize a visual drag-and-drop builder for exploratory or non-engineering stakeholder workflows
• Build and configure forms with validation, visibility rules, and data flow wiring
• Configure outbound HTTP integrations and manage authentication including OAuth2 and API tokens
• Provision workflow definitions idempotently across dev, staging, UAT, and production environments
• Debug failing runs using logs, preview tooling, and trace-style execution visualizations
• Use embedded JavaScript in form sandboxes for dynamic behavior and validation
• Partner with product, ops, compliance, and customer-facing teams to clarify requirements and explain trade-offs

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals in a statically typed language (Go, Java, C#, Kotlin, Rust, or TypeScript)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Comfort with JSON Schema and structured data
• Strong intuition for REST / HTTP, OpenAPI specs, and debugging
• Strong testing habits and engineering rigor regarding version control and idempotent provisioning
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A bias toward shipping

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing Go experience
• Experience with workflow or orchestration platforms
