Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Monitor case progress and track key developments in workers' compensation claims
• Oversee medical treatment updates, wage loss documentation, and settlement negotiations
• Maintain and manage all case-related records, including medical and legal documents
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and guidance
• Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• File legal documents with appropriate courts or administrative agencies
• Assist attorneys in hearing and trial preparation by compiling exhibits and evidence
• Maintain case calendars and manage important legal deadlines

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal
• Direct experience handling workers' compensation cases
• Strong understanding of workers' compensation statutes, rules, and regulations
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with legal research tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills
