Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day workers' compensation cases and hearings
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda
• Guide clients through the case process and maintain excellent client service
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports and affidavits
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
