Worker's Compensation Consultant

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to evaluate, manage, and influence workers' compensation claim management programs.
• Analyze claim data to identify trends and measure overall program performance.
• Review client claim programs against industry best practices and provide written recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with Loss Prevention and other internal departments to provide unified client assessments.
• Utilize technical skills to ensure appropriate reserves are in place for claim files.
• Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and third-party vendors to facilitate claim resolution.
• Advocate for clients while maintaining positive working relationships with carriers and vendors.
• Travel to client, carrier, or vendor locations as required to support business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or equivalent practical insurance claim management experience.
• Proficiency in the evaluation, interpretation, and communication of property and casualty insurance coverage.
• Substantial knowledge of Third Party Administrator (TPA) practices and procedures.
• Proven experience evaluating the accuracy of property and casualty claim reserving practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation and critical thinking skills to resolve complex claim issues.
• Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
