Workday Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Workday HCM solutions to drive HR transformation and operational excellence
• Lead the technical design and implementation of the full Workday integration stack, including Core Connectors, EIB, Workday Studio, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical configurations and global models
• Manage the technical lifecycle of Workday, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring of production integrations
• Drive Workday release evaluations to assess impact on existing configurations and implement enhancements
• Build and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Establish technical development standards, documentation practices, and quality controls
• Mentor and coach junior Workday analysts and functional consultants
• Collaborate with HR leadership, IT stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless data flows for payroll, benefits, and other downstream systems

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in HR IT roles with deep hands-on Workday experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Global Workday implementation projects
• Workday Pro Integration certification
• Workday Core HCM configuration certification
• Expertise in Workday business process configuration, Core HCM, Talent, Recruiting, and Compensation
• Strong proficiency in the Workday integration stack (XML, JSON, XSLT, XPATH, OAuth 2.0)
• Experience working within Agile project methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Proven ability to manage complex security roles and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Workday certifications in Recruiting, Compensation, or Talent
• Background in SaaS, ITSM, or experience using Jira/ServiceNow
• Experience operating in global, multicultural, and matrixed environments
