About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Workday implementation to replace legacy systems.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the college, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Coordinate all project-related meetings, communications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Change Manager to support end-user adoption and align processes with Workday best practices.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental workshops between HR, Finance, and IT to optimize business processes.
  • Identify potential technical, budgetary, or cultural roadblocks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee data conversion, validation processes, and successful integrations with existing platforms.
  • Manage resources and logistics for the testing strategy and scenario creation workshops.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of project management experience within a higher education environment.
  • At least one (1) successful engagement implementing Workday HCM and Finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
  • Experience implementing Workday Student.
  • Experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and stakeholder engagement strategies.
