Workday Integration Developer

Responsibilities

• Provide Workday programming expertise to develop, monitor, support, and enhance approximately 120 integrations
• Manage end-to-end data flows between Workday and third-party systems, including hands-on configuration and code updates
• Maintain nearly 30 global payroll integrations (primarily PECI and PICOF-based) to ensure accurate employee pay
• Develop, build, test, and deploy new integrations using groundbreaking technologies within an Agile environment
• Provide input on integrating Workday into the larger Enterprise Architecture, including SSO, IP whitelisting, and security protocols
• Lead integration development efforts, including the coordination of remote global resources
• Design interfaces and conduct thorough unit, integration, and regression testing

Requirements

• Strong experience with Workday Studio development and Payroll integrations
• Proficiency with Workday development toolsets: EIB, Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and Studio BIRT Module
• Technical expertise in XML, XSLT, XTT, ETV, and object-oriented development including Java
• Experience with APIs and Web Services standards such as WSDL, SOAP, and REST
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and leadership
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Workday Time & Absence to third-party systems
• Previous experience developing PECI integrations
• Interest in extending Workday functionality using Workday Extend
