Workday Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic system and process advisement by implementing and supporting Workday solutions for clients
• Follow delivery methodologies appropriate to the project and promote industry best practices
• Deliver high-quality execution and completion rates on all client engagements
• Develop and implement effective change management strategies, including communications, testing, and training programs
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations
• Engage in proactive communication with peers and colleagues to build effective relationships across the business

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Workday consultant in a client-facing role
• Proficiency in configuring at least one Workday HCM or Finance module (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Financial Management, etc.)
• Experience with all phases of the Workday implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Technical proficiency with Workday tools such as Report Writer, calculated fields, EIB, and Core Connectors
• Strong working knowledge of web services and the Workday security framework
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Workday Certification in one or more HCM or Finance modules
• Functional or technical experience implementing Paradox, HiredScore, Oracle, SAP, Workato, or Jitterbit
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies
