Workday Financials Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic Workday FinTech Lead, partnering with Finance and Technology stakeholders
• Translate operational, reporting, and compliance requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Drive Workday governance, roadmap planning, and resource coordination
• Oversee feature releases, semi-annual updates, and module implementations
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements across Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
• Lead and mentor Workday support resources
• Configure, test, and deploy functionality within Workday Core Financials
• Maintain documentation for financial workflows, security roles, and data governance
• Champion continuous improvement and user adoption of Workday

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in financial systems management, ERP administration, or enterprise application support
• Strong experience with Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive
• Deep functional understanding of financial workflows, accounting structures, and period close
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver scalable solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Workday HCM
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-entity, or decentralized environments
