About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an overarching project communication plan aligned with key Workday implementation milestones.
  • Create and execute diverse communication materials, including campus-wide emails, newsletters, FAQ documents, and website content.
  • Translate technical Workday terminology into accessible language for faculty, staff, and administrative units.
  • Collaborate with the Change & Adoption Manager to develop training documentation, videos, and course content.
  • Partner with a "Workday Champions" network to gather diverse perspectives and guide institutional communications.
  • Monitor engagement through feedback loops, user assessments, and reporting dashboards to ensure successful adoption.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and creative communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently to provide high-quality solutions and manage resistance in a complex organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a training, communications, or change management role.
  • Experience with Workday HCM & Finance.
  • Background in higher education or experience managing internal communications via intranets and newsletters.
  • PROSCI or ACMP Change Management certification.
