About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for the transition from legacy systems to Workday ERP.
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and organizational readiness evaluations to tailor change strategies.
- Build and lead a "Workday Champions" network across campus to provide departmental support and peer-to-peer troubleshooting.
- Execute the project communication plan, including writing emails, newsletters, and website content tailored to faculty, staff, and students.
- Develop training plans, documentation, repositories, and video content to support standardized workflows.
- Deliver in-person training and manage feedback loops to ensure training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with project teams and functional leads to identify risks to user acceptance and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track adoption, training completion, and engagement metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Development, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, communications, or change management.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing change or training specifically within Workday HCM & Finance.
- Proven experience in managing internal communications, including leadership forums, newsletters, and intranet sites.
- Experience managing change through sponsorship management, communication, and training plans.
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, editing, and tone.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders, manage resistance, and drive adoption in a complex organizational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a higher education environment.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
- PROSCI or ACMP Change Management certification.
