Workday Certified Core HCM AMS Architect

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead and escalation point for Core HCM within AMS engagements
• Lead client discovery sessions to identify optimization opportunities and define solution approaches
• Architect scalable Core HCM solutions aligned with Workday best practices
• Provide oversight and quality assurance for enhancements, tickets, and AMS delivery workstreams
• Support ongoing Workday releases through impact analysis and feature adoption recommendations
• Guide clients on roadmap planning, system optimization, and continuous improvement
• Partner with AMS consultants to ensure accurate solution design and testing support

Requirements

• Active Workday Partner Certification in Core HCM or related HCM certification
• Experience with multiple end-to-end Workday implementations or post-production AMS engagements
• Experience working in an AMS, managed services, or support-based environment
• Deep expertise in Workday Core HCM (Business Processes, Security, Reporting, Org Structures, Staffing Models)
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Willingness to travel up to 10–20% based on client needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, or Talent & Performance modules
• Prior experience as a Lead Consultant, Functional Architect, or AMS SME
