Workday Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Workday enhancements across HR, Finance, Procurement, and Projects.
• Translate business rules and processes into actionable functional specifications and configure Workday modules to meet those specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, configuration, and integration development.
• Act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) during the design, development, and implementation phases of new Workday capabilities.
• Develop detailed test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
• Create training materials and support documentation to drive successful end-user adoption and change management.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigating strategies to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst specifically within a Workday environment.
• Demonstrable functional knowledge of Workday HCM, Financial Management, Procurement, and Projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing requirements analysis and mapping requirements to HRIS and Finance ERP capabilities.
• Experience leading joint analysis and design sessions to elicit use cases and user stories.
• Demonstrated experience working with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• University degree in a technology-related field or business.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI Automation.
• Expertise in MS Office or Google Suite.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
