About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide data entry services using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- File, archive, and update all required records
- Screen phone calls and escalate to appropriate personnel
- Second check Client Profile Templates (CPT), work orders, and client codes
- Input analytical methods and relevant information into GEMS
- Assign method codes and correct invoices and credits
- Ensure pricing accuracy for active and new work orders
- Liaise with management to obtain turnaround times and ETAs
Requirements
- Strong alphanumeric skills
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneNote
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately
- Ability to work to deadlines within a team environment
- Experience in a laboratory environment or qualifications in Geology, Chemistry, or Earth Science is advantageous but not essential
