About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide data entry services using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • File, archive, and update all required records
  • Screen phone calls and escalate to appropriate personnel
  • Second check Client Profile Templates (CPT), work orders, and client codes
  • Input analytical methods and relevant information into GEMS
  • Assign method codes and correct invoices and credits
  • Ensure pricing accuracy for active and new work orders
  • Liaise with management to obtain turnaround times and ETAs

Requirements

  • Strong alphanumeric skills
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneNote
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately
  • Ability to work to deadlines within a team environment
  • Experience in a laboratory environment or qualifications in Geology, Chemistry, or Earth Science is advantageous but not essential
