About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure client work orders are entered into the system accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain close liaison with supervisors and lab staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Identify and resolve internal and external problems as they arise
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations
- Provide timely follow-up on client enquiries, requests, and "on hold" work orders
- Greet customers courteously, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Process various paperwork and manage incoming mail or packages
- Maintain a positive work environment through active team participation and quality customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience with data entry systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 7.5 hours per shift
- Manual dexterity for repetitive data entry tasks
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or graveyard shifts, including weekends, as the facility operates 24/7
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative Assistant training
- Business degree
