WordPress Website Developer

Responsibilities

• Build a custom, high-performance, and scalable WordPress website with a focus on SEO and lightweight architecture
• Develop a modern, premium UI/UX and mobile-first responsive design tailored for an international investment audience
• Implement a multilingual framework (English and Arabic) and enable geo-based personalisation for currency and content
• Lead the full migration of existing property listings, ensuring data integrity, correct URL mapping (301 redirects), and metadata preservation
• Integrate the platform with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM), lead capture tools, and property data feeds
• Optimise website performance for Core Web Vitals, targeting high PageSpeed scores (90+)
• Manage the full deployment lifecycle from staging to production, ensuring a smooth go-live with zero downtime

Requirements

• Strong experience in WordPress custom theme and plugin development
• Proven track record of managing complex website migration projects
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience implementing multilingual setups (e.g., WPML, Polylang)
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, website performance optimisation, and asset optimisation
• Experience with data migration, URL mapping, and managing redirects
• Hands-on experience with CDN, caching, and various hosting environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on real estate or property-focused websites
• Familiarity with Houzez or similar property management systems
• Experience with multi-currency and geo-targeting implementations
• Understanding of the needs of international investor audiences (UK, US, GCC)
• Experience with headless WordPress or modern frontend frameworks
