Wood Carver

Responsibilities

• Execute precise and intricate wood carving techniques to create unique, high-quality wooden products
• Transform design concepts and blueprints into tangible wood art pieces
• Select and source high-quality wood materials aligned with brand standards
• Maintain and care for woodworking tools and equipment
• Inspect and refine final products to ensure quality standards and finish
• Collaborate with artisans, designers, and craftspeople on the creative process

Requirements

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solid wood preparation (cutting and assembling)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in wood inlay and sculpture
• Proven experience in custom door fabrication and installation
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and machinery
• Must own a personal set of carving tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
