WMS Workflow Architect

Responsibilities

• Serve as the design authority for Datex WMS architectural standards, configuration patterns, and warehouse blueprints
• Lead and mentor onshore and offshore WMS workflow developers, analysts, and QA testers
• Ensure all workflows comply with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements including DSCSA, cGMP/GDP, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Architect efficient workflows for FEFO allocation, lot/batch control, temperature-controlled handling, and multi-client 3PL billing
• Oversee integration design between WMS and ERP, TMS, carriers, and automation systems
• Govern change control, release management, and validation strategies (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Engineering to build scalable solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience with Datex WMS in configuration, workflow design, and architecture
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role guiding onshore and offshore teams
• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical distribution regulations (DSCSA, cGMP/GDP, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Strong SQL Server experience, including queries, stored procedures, and debugging
• Proven experience working within GxP validation frameworks
• Extensive experience in 3PL multi-client environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in supply chain or WMS technologies
• Experience designing Azure Functions or Node.js/TypeScript utilities for workflow extensions
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Exposure to warehouse automation technologies (AMRs, conveyors, pick-to-light)
• Familiarity with serialization platforms like TraceLink or SAP ATTP
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau for operational data modeling
