Wiring Technician Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule the assembly and wiring team to meet quality and shipment requirements
• Provide technical guidance and corrective action for switchgear and power control system installation
• Train personnel in assembly and wiring and provide expertise to Field Service Technicians
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to team members
• Perform wiring of control panels and switchboards following diagrams
• Execute point-to-point wiring, crimping, cutting, and labeling
• Maintain area safety and perform general housekeeping

Requirements

• 6+ years of switchgear wiring and assembly experience in a manufacturing facility
• Proficiency with tools including digital multimeters, Meggers, and secondary injection units
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans, blueprints, and drawings
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control techniques
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience supervising a team of 5 or more in a manufacturing environment
