Wireless System Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Test weekly, daily, and customer software releases
• Generate daily/weekly test reports, raise bugs, and track them to closure
• Collaborate with team members for code integration and maintenance
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and device upgrades to field engineers and customers
• Interface with internal engineering teams to share field issues and test fixes
• Participate in customer interactions to resolve technical issues
• Perform wireless system debug and troubleshooting
• Manage issues within required timeframes to meet SLA objectives
• Collaborate across teams to optimize link performance and radio device features
• Install software and test/approve new devices for customer deployments

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles
• Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python and Bash
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Sound knowledge of wireless communication and computer networking
• Experience in automated testing
• Ability to travel to customer sites for demonstrations
