Wireless Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize wireless network solutions based on system application requirements
• Develop wireless network sub-system requirements frameworks
• Define architecture and implementation methodologies for standard radio solutions
• Collaborate with program teams to integrate network solution interfaces
• Create and maintain standard documentation for radio solutions in accordance with project requirements
• Develop test cases for validation activities and review results
• Act as a technical reference for issue escalation during project deployment
• Ensure compliance with quality and process directives
• Recommend tools and product improvements based on technological developments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radio and/or Telecoms Engineering
• Experience or understanding of wireless network design and deployment
• Knowledge of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, GSM, 3G, 4G, Tetra, Wi-Fi6, and 5G
• Familiarity with wireless cyber security controls such as WPA2, WPA3, WIPS, and EAP-TLS
• Strong understanding of industry-standard protocols (802.11, 3GPP, SNMP, Syslog)
• Hands-on experience with network management and traffic analysis tools like Wireshark and iperf
• Competency in NMS implementation for wireless equipment status and control
• Working knowledge of requirements and configuration management tools
• Fluency in spoken and written English
