About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive active monitoring and response (M&R) services to detect unauthorized signals across organizational facilities.
  • Utilize the Bastille Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) and hand-held equipment to conduct wireless assessments and identify prohibited technologies.
  • Perform real-time alert analysis, threat classification, incident assessment, and incident reporting in accordance with ICD 503 directives.
  • Coordinate with government security personnel and Personnel Security Officers (PSO) to ensure comprehensive security posture maintenance and incident resolution.
  • Conduct research and prepare formal recommendations for wireless devices to be added to the Authorized Equipment List (AEL).
  • Deploy mobile tools to locate the source of unauthorized signals and develop recommended mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience, OR High School/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wireless protocols and Radio Frequency (RF) theory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in WIDS administrative functions, metrics, and active M&R.
  • Experience with mobile wireless direction-finding equipment for signal detection, identification, and reporting.
  • Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD) elements.
  • Experience writing operating procedures and reporting templates in accordance with national and DOD requirements.
  • Knowledge of National and DOD directives, orders, and regulations governing WIDS activities.
