Wireless Communications Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and optimise wireless communication and SDR-based systems
• Build, test and debug prototypes on embedded and edge-computing platforms like Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson
• Develop software in Python and C/C++ and configure Linux-based systems
• Define technical concepts and system architectures bridging RF, embedded, and software domains
• Tune end-to-end systems for performance, reliability, and field-readiness

Requirements

• Degree in communications, electrical, telecommunications engineering, or computer science with an embedded/wireless focus
• Deep command of digital wireless communications and SDR tools (e.g., GNU Radio)
• Experience with link-budget analysis and digital signal processing
• Experience building and integrating embedded Linux systems
• Hands-on Python development skills
• Professional fluency in German and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SDR hardware such as USRP, RTL-SDR, HackRF, or LimeSDR
• Experience with edge platforms using CUDA or edge AI/ML applications
• Background in UAV, robotics, autonomous systems, or mesh/MANET communications
• Experience in defence, automotive, or semiconductor domains
