Wire Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and basic daily/weekly preventative maintenance.
• Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear stoppages on automated equipment.
• Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct shifts in process control.
• Use measuring tools to assess process stability and product quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards including FDA 21CFR and ISO 13495.
• Identify and report discrepancies in quality, safety, and process execution.
• Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of automated machines and tools.
• Proficiency in English to read documentation and communicate effectively.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and/or geometry.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of a shift and perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes.
