Wire Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate detail-sensitive machines to manufacture small parts and perform manual tasks on detailed projects
• Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear stoppages on automated equipment
• Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) and computer systems to monitor process control and inventory
• Use measuring tools to assess process stability and product quality
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards including FDA and ISO
• Identify and report discrepancies in quality, safety, and process execution
• Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with experience using automated machines and tools
• Proficiency in the English language for reading documentation and communication
• Basic mathematics skills including arithmetic, algebra, or geometry
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of the shift and perform physical tasks such as reaching and lifting up to 20lbs
• Availability to work the weekend day shift (Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes
