About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and perform basic preventative maintenance on automated equipment to produce precision medical device components
  • Monitor processes using Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct process control shifts
  • Maintain raw material feeds and clear equipment stoppages or faults to ensure production stays on schedule
  • Use measuring tools to assess product quality and process stability
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards including FDA 21CFR, ISO 13495, and cGMP
  • Document work and maintain material inventory using computer systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of automated machines and tools
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation and written communication
  • Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and/or geometry
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of the shift and perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to work the weekend night shift (Friday – Sunday, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am)

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes
