Winter Maintenance Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive gritter vehicles to spread salt onto roads during cold weather to maintain road safety
• Fit snow ploughs during adverse weather conditions
• Maintain accurate driver and vehicle records
• Work flexible hours on a rota basis, including nights and weekends, depending on weather and call-outs

Requirements

• Current LGV Class 2 licence (minimum)
• Valid CPC accreditation
• Willingness to work unsociable hours, including nights and weekends
• Willingness to undertake additional training associated with the role
