Windows Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, support, and deploy Windows operating systems to ensure security and performance.
• Manage both physical and virtual servers, including virus updates, patching, and performance tuning.
• Utilize Microsoft Group Policy Management and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to manage settings and updates across multiple machines.
• Support mission-critical operations through expert administration of Windows Server and desktop environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT discipline (or equivalent combination of experience and certifications).
• 15+ years of related IT experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Extensive experience with Windows systems engineering and administration.
• Proficiency in MSSQL, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), and VM clusters.
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, VMware, and PowerShell scripting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for accrediting security-controlled systems.
