Windows Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and maintain Windows server and endpoint systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Perform Tier II/III troubleshooting and root cause analysis for OS level, authentication, GPO, and networking issues.
• Manage configuration baselines, apply required updates, and maintain accurate documentation for operational processes.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, certificate services, and related identity and access services.
• Maintain Windows systems for compliance with security baselines, STIG settings, and enterprise hardening requirements.
• Execute Windows OS and security patching, including deploying enterprise-approved updates and third-party patches.
• Identify and remediate noncompliant systems by reviewing vulnerability and SCAP reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Windows client OS in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, GPO creation/troubleshooting, and PowerShell automation.
• Experience implementing secure configurations, STIG/HBSS compliance, and OS hardening.
• US citizenship is required.
