Windows OS System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain Windows Server systems and Windows Clusters (e.g., Server 2012, 2016)
• Provide 24/7 operational support including OS installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management
• Support SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments hosted on Windows platforms
• Manage client agents for server monitoring (SCOM) and server management (SCCM)
• Oversee Windows File shares, clusters, and resource management
• Manage Active Directory, user/group accounts, and enforce account policies
• Collaborate with ERP, application, database, and web hosting teams to resolve break/fix issues
• Develop and maintain technical design and operational documentation
• Manage vendor support tickets with Microsoft, including log collection and follow-up

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise Windows Server administration
• Proficiency in Windows Server (2012, 2016+) and Windows Clustering
• Extensive experience with Microsoft System Center (SCOM, SCCM)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Orchestrator for automation
• Experience supporting SAP, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA on Windows
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 shift-based environment
• Awareness of cybersecurity regulations (NCA, NIC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V
• Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge of system backup and recovery solutions
