Windows Desktop Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 IT and network support for mission-critical environments including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR at Offutt AFB.
• Manage the operation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and management consoles such as Teradici, Wyse Management Suite (WMS), and 10Zig.
• Support mission system services through life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment to ensure assured connectivity.
• Diagnose technical problems, resolve product/service issues, and escalate unresolved matters according to established procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, installation records, and service level agreement compliance.
• Perform shift work as required to ensure continuous mission support.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience (may vary based on technical training, certifications, or degree).
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving within Windows-based environments.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG requirements for Windows workstations.
• Ability to provide after-hours support for emergency situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software packaging and deployments.
• Experience in systems development and IT infrastructure operations.
• Background supporting Department of Defense (DoD) customers in high-demand environments.
