Windows Administrator Senior

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and management consoles including Teradici, Wyse Management Suite (WMS), and 10Zig.
• Provide multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, and integration.
• Verify system performance following hardware and software installations.
• Diagnose technical problems, manage product/service issue resolution, and escalate unresolved issues according to established procedures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as manuals, system specifications, and installation records.
• Perform shift work as required to ensure 24/7 coverage and support for critical defense networks.
• Validate recovery capabilities through periodic testing and targeted recovery exercises.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system administration or related technical field (may vary based on technical training, certification, or degree).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG requirements for Windows-based workstations.
• Ability to provide after-hours support for emergency situations.
• Ability to obtain ITIL 4 Foundation certification within 9 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dell WYSE Management Server.
• Experience supporting NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
